Think about this! When Pastor Fink started the jazz ministry at Trinity he reached out to a group of people who are often estranged from the church. But they need not be. Within the liturgical structure he developed a jazz worship service which was never the less liturgical. I have often wondered where God would have taken that ministry if Pastor's son had not taken his own life. Pastor Fink continues to preach even though he is my age, imagine that! With the Disney link and the Ron Logan connections Trinity should be the center of the jazz world in Central Florida. So thinking creatively, we do not need buildings, we need people and ideas. This is one that should not die. It has been close to 15 years since Ron Fink left us, but the spirit he, a Kennedy Democrat, engendered in a Nixon Republican is still stirring. Peace, R.
